12 cups sliced peaches

2 cups granulated sugar
|
|
1/2 cup lemon juice
|
|
1 1/2 cup orange juice (reconstituted)
|
|
1 2/3 cups crushed pineapple (do not drain)
|
|
Sprinkle sugar over peaches and let stand for 30 minutes
|
|
Combine juices and pineapple with peaches. Stir.
|
|
Freeze in freezer bags (quart baggs serve 4-6)
|
|
To serve- partially thaw - serve icy in separate cups.
|
|
|
|
This stands alone as a salad or poured over ice cream.
|
|
Cann add grapes and/or sliced bananas just before
|
|
serving for a more colorful salad.
