     Pistachio Dessert (Dorothy Pratt)

Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups flour
1 1/2 Sticks margarine
3 Tbsp.sugar
1/4 Cup chopped nuts
1 package cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/2 of a12 oz. container of Cool Whip
3/4 Cup powdered sugar
2 pkgs. Instant pistachio pudding mix
2 1/2 milk
 

Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, magarine and nuts and pat into bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350o for 15 minutes. Cool. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip and spread on cooled crust. Mix for 2 minutes and spread over last mixture. Spread rest of Cool Whip on top. Garnish with nuts or cherries if desired. Refrigerate before serving. Dessert may also be frozen.
