4 cups chopped, seeded, peeled tomato

4 cups tomato juice
|

1/3 cup basil leaves

1 cup milk
|

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

4 oz cream cheese

Instructions |
|
|
Bring tomato and juice to a boil in large saucepan.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes.
|

Place tomato mixture and basil in blander and
process until smooth. Return to pan.
|
|
|
Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese,
stirring with whisk.
|
|
|
Cook over medium heat until thick.
|
