     Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients
1 cup quick cooking wild rice
1 cup chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups chicken broth
1.5 cups cubed baking potato
2 cups milk
1/3 cup flour
10 oz cubed cheese
2 cups chopped, cooked chicken (~two breasts)
 
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions
Cook rice and chicken.
Saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes over medium high heat. Add broth and potato. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, until potato is tender.
Whisk together milk and flour. Add to potato mixture and let thicken for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add cheese.
Stir in rice, chicken, pepper and salt. Garnish with parsley.

Use crockpot
