2 bunches cilantro , stems and leaves, ends only trimmed
1/4 C. Golden raises2 Serrano chillies seeded & coarsely chopped
1 small onion coarsely chopped
2 T. Lemon Juice
1 t. Salt
Instructions
Place cilantro,chillies, raisins and onion in a blender or food
processor. Process toor a thick paste. Stir in lemon juice and
salt. Taste adding more salt If needed.
Chutney is as good with grilled or roasted chicken, ham or
pork as it is with cold meat or cheese sandwiches. Pour
chutney over cream cheese and serve with tortilla chips or
crackers.
