Ingredients-
1 ¾ c. cake flour (not self rising)
1 ¼ c. unbleached all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 1 inch cubes
4 large eggs
1 c. whole milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Heat oven to 325°.
Mix flours, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix on low and add
butter – do not overbeat.
Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla.
Add in three parts, do not over beat.
Bake 17-20 minutes.
