Cut onion into flower and spread the petals. Mix milk and egg in a
bowl. Mix flour, salt, cayenne, pepper and thyme in a second
bowl. Dip the onion in the wet mix then in the dry mix. Repeat.
Refrigerate 15 minutes. Fry in 350 oil 10-15 minutes. Mix
catsup, mayo, horseradish, paprika, salt, pepper and oregano and
serve as dipping sauce.
