     Grandma Jutte's Apple Custard Pie

Ingredients
Cut Apples
Pie Crust
Sugar
1 TBSP Butter
2 Eggs Well Beaten
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup White Sugar
A Sprinkle of Salt
 

Instructions
Cut slices of apples into pie crust. Sprinkle apples with sugar and butter. Brown crust and apples in the oven for about 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
To make the custard - Mix beaten eggs, milk, sugar and salt. Pour over apples in the crust. Put back in the over for about 10 more minutes.
Another version - Instead of applese, use sliced bananas or rhubarb.
