1 lb macaroni or penne pasta
|
|
1/2 stick of butter
|
|
1/4 cup flour
|
|
2 cups milk
|
|
2 cups heavy cream
|
|
3 cups grated sharp cheddar
|
|
1 1/2 cups grated gorgonzola
|
|
1 cup breadcrumbs
|
|
1/8 cup melted butter or olive oil
|

|
|
|
|

|

Instructions |
|
|
Cook pasta, drain, cool and set aside. Melt butter
in large sauce pan and add flour. Cook about a
minute, do not brown.

Gradually whisk in milk and cream, simmer until
thick and bubbles appear. Reduce heat to low.
|
|
|
Add grated cheeses, whisk until melted. Add cooked
pasta. Transfer mixture into greased baking dish.
|
|
|
Mix breadcrumbs and melted butter in bag, mix and
sprinkle over mac & cheese. Bake at 350 for 20
minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
