Heat all ingredients to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Prepare barbecue sauce. Stir 3 cups 1 inch strips thinly sliced cooked beef into sauce. Cover and simmer until beef is hot, about 5 minutes. Fill 6 hamburger buns with beef mixture.
