8 oz. (about 3 cups) bow ties pasta, uncooked

1 lb. sweet Italian sausage links, cut into 1-in. pieces

1 T. veg. oil
|
| |
12 oz. (about 3 1/4 c.) sliced white button mushrooms
|
| |
1 c. chopped onion
|
| |
2 c. prepared marinara sauce
|
|

|

Instructions |

Prepare pasta according to pkg. directions; drain.
|

Meanwhile, in lg. skillet saute sausage until browned & cooked through, about 10 min. Remove; set aside. Drain off fat in skillet.

Add oil to same skillet; heat until hot. Add mushrooms, green pepper, & onion; cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 5 to 7 min.
|
|
|
|
Add reserved sausage & marinara sauce; cook until heated through, about 5 min. Ladle sauce over hot pasta.
