3 - 4 lb. beef roast (Boston or Bottom) remove string, fat trimmed & cut into 4 pieces
1 jar banana pepper rings & its liquid (12 ounces)
1 dry envelope Good Season's Italian Dressing Mix
12 oz can or bottle of beer
1 large onion cut into rings
Instructions
In a 5 quart crock pot - 1st layer the onion, then the beef roast,
then layer banana peppers and juice. Sprinkle the contents of the
dry mix on the beef. Pour beer over beef next. Use more beer or
water to cover roast with liquid.
Cook on high about 6 hours. Shred beef with forks.
Serve on small Italian rolls.
Servie with cole slaw and raw cut-up veggies and dip.
Great for family and large get togethers.
Beef freezes well.
Leftover broth makes a yummy soup.
