Cut beef in narrow strips. Brown slowly in oil about 15 min. Add
onion and garlic salt, season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook
1-2 min. longer. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water. Add to
meat. Cover and let simmer until meat is nearly done (20-30
minutes). Add tomatoes and green pepper. Cook 10 minutes
longer. Uncover skillet. Add combined cornstarch, water, and soy
sauce stirred together. Mix and bring to a boil. Cook stirring
constantly, 5 minutes longer or until sauce is thickened and
clear.
