Add onion and mushrooms. Stir constantly until vegetables are tender.
Add bulgur and cook until golden.
Add seasonings and broth. Sprinkle with additional garlic salt if desired. Stir well. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. (Can let sit in pan on burner as it then cools down, to give bottom a brownish, crispy texture.)
Really good topped with plain, FF yogurt and shredded FF cheddar cheese
