     Bacon & Caramelized-Onion Asparagus

Ingredients
3 slices bacon
1-1/2 lbs fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
1 tbsp water
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup Light Ranch Dressing
 

Instructions
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towels. Discard drippings from skillet but do not wash it.
Place asparagus in microwaveable dish. Add water. Microwave on high for 4-5 min or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Meanwhile, add onions to skillet; cook and stir 5 min or until crisp-tender. Stir in dressing.
Drain asparagus; top with sauce and crumbled bacon.
