     Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients
4 cups powdered sugar, sifted, divided
3/2 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
6 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
4 to 8 tablespoons milk, divided
3/4 teaspoons vanilla
 

Instructions
Beat 2 cups powdered sugar, melted chocolate, 4 tablespoons milk and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add remaining 2 cups powdered sugar; beat until light and fluffy, adding more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, if necessary, to reach desired spreading consistency.
