     Pretty in Pink

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
 
2 eggs
2 to 3 tablespoons multi-colored cake decors (sprinkles)
Pink food coloring
1 container (16 oz.) white frosting
White and pink decorating sugars
12 small tiaras

Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 12 standard (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups with paper baking cups.
2) Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; mix well. Stir sour cream, milk and vamilla in small bowl until well blended. Beat granulated sugar and butter in large bowl at medium speed for 2 minutes, or until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Alternately add flour mix and sour cream mix, beating well after each addition. Stir in decors until well blended. Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups.
3) Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
4) Add food coloring to frosting, a few drops at a time, until desired shade is reached. 5) Frost cupcakes; sprinkle with decorating sugars. Arrange tiaras on cupcakes.
