Preptime   20 minutes

Ingredients
6 large green bell peppers
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork or ground hot italian sausage
1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
1 16-ounce can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup cooked long grain white rice
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Crushed Red Pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded american cheese (or 4 slices american cheese)

Place water in a large pan and bring to boil - cook bell peppers uncovered in water for about 5 minutes; remove & invert to drain well. Sprinkle insides lightly with salt. In a skillet, cook ground beef, pork or sausage, onion and chopped bell pepper until meats are browned & vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder & crushed red pepper, to taste. Add undrained tomatoes, rice & Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover & simmer 15-18 minutes. Stir in American cheese. Please bell peppers in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. Stuff peppers with mixture & top with shredded cheddar cheese. Baked covered for 30 minutes.
