     Gingered Asparagus

Ingredients
2 T. sherry or reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 T. reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 t. sesame oil
1 t. fresh gingerroot
1 t. lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1-1/4 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed & cut into 1-in. pieces
 

Instructions
In a sm. bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Place asparagus in a shallow 1-1/2 qt. microwave-safe dish. Drizzle with half of the sauce; toss to coat.
Cover & microwave on high for 4-6 min. or until the asparagus is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Drizzle with the remaining sauce. Serve immediately.
