Blend Crisco, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and
cream well. Add flour, salt, and soda and mix until blended. Stir in
chocolate chips. Taste the dough (very important!). Drop from a
small dipper onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10
minutes.
