     Biscotti, almond and orange rind

Ingredients
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 t soda
1/4 t salt
2 eggs
1 T almond extract or liqueur
2 T vanilla
3/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c sliced almonds
2 T orange rind (i used dry)
 

Instructions
350. Process eggs and sugar and flavors 5 min. Add dry ingredients till just mixed. Do Not overmix. Add almonds carefully. Dough is sticky. Chill. Roll in sugar...2 rolls 12 inches long. Bake exactly 35 min. Slice straight or on an angle. Return to oven (turned off) for about 20 min.
Might want to double. Delicious subtle flavor
