2 cans (15.5 oz) Golden hominy, drained
|
|
4 oz can green chili pepper, not drained
|
|
1 medium onion, chopped
|
|
2 cloves minced garlic
|
|
1 lb chicken breast cut into strips
|
|
14 1/2 oz canned cut tomatoes, NOT drained
|
|
2 cans (15.5 oz) chicken broth
|
|
1 t dried oregano
|
|
1/2 t ground cumin
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
1- Do NOT drain the chili peppers or tomatoes. DO drain the
hominy.
|
|
|
2- Place hominy, chili peppers, onion, garlic, chicken, tomatoes,
broth, oregano and cumin in cooker. Cook on LOW for 5 to 6
hours.

|
3- Stir in cilantro, garnish with sour cream if desired
|
|
