Cut up new potatoes into small bite-size pieces. Preheat the oven to about 375. Boil until they can be forked easily. Drain potatoes and set them aside. In a sauce pan, boil real butter (about 1/2 cup) until it burns--it will be foamy and it will start to turn a golden brown and smell like candy. Make sure you stir it the whole time. When the butter is burned (that’s what it’s called), take it off the burner. Dump cooked potatoes into casserole dish. Pour butter over potatoes evenly (no need to stir). Make sure you even dump on the thicker, browner butter that will be at the bottom of the saucepan. Most of it will be clear though. Sprinkle on a little bit of salt. Bake for about 20 minutes or until potatoes look a little browner and are slightly crunchy on top.
