I have a whole chicken that I want do tomorrow in my crock pot but I've never used it so some ideas on what to do with it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -)
I've never used a crockpot, but I will usually boil my chicken on low in broth with salt/pepper & a chopped onion - Then I'll use the broth for a gravy (without the onion & if we're having potatoes!)

balled. Up foil so the chicken isn't sitting in the juices as it cooks & do low for 7-8 hours.
I wash, pat dry. Add butter to the inside, season the outside... No liquid, it makes its own. Low for 6 to 8 hours... So good everytime.
I just add Italian dressing. Perfectly juicy every time!
