I have a whole chicken that I want do tomorrow in my crock pot but I've never used it so some ideas on what to do with it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -) I've never used a crockpot, but I will usually boil my chicken on low in broth with salt/pepper & a chopped onion - Then I'll use the broth for a gravy (without the onion & if we're having potatoes!) more recipes Fun, easy and yummy! http-//allrecipes.com/Recipe/Bloody-Mary-Chicken/ celery carrots onions put the the chicken on top with some chicken broth then make gravy with the drippings and do sweet potatoes and stuffing on the side Season the chicken with olive oil & a chicken rub (you can use whatever seasonings you like), line the crock pot with balled-Up foil so the chic
balled. Up foil so the chicken isn't sitting in the juices as it cooks & do low for 7-8 hours. I wash, pat dry. Add butter to the inside, season the outside... No liquid, it makes its own. Low for 6 to 8 hours... So good everytime. I just add Italian dressing. Perfectly juicy every time!
