Combine butter and both sugars. Beat on medium speed until light and
fluffy. Reduce speed to low and add the salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat
for 1 minute.
Add flour and baking soda. Mix until just combined. Stir in oats and
chocolate chips. Chill for 1 hour
Preheat oven to 375.
Bake 8-10 minutes or golden on the edges.
