1. In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder and the salt. Stir thoroughly. Make a well in the center

In another bowel cream together the butter and the sugar. Add the egg until quite smooth. Mix in the milk and the vanilla. Pour into the well and stir until moistened. The batter will be lumpy.

|
|
In a small bowl gently stir the fruit of your choice with flour. Fold into the batter gently. Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full.

|
|
Bake on 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until nicely browned.
