     PIE - Easy Cooked Meringue

Ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup - 2 tbs sugar
1 tbs cornstarch
3 egg whites
dash salt
 

Instructions
Mix water, sugar and cornstarch, cooking until thick. Beat whites (room temp) and salt until foamy. Gradually add cooked mixture. Beat until stiff peaks form.
Put on top of pie. Bake at 425 degrees for 7 minutes. (or at 375 for 12 minutes)
