     PIE - Pumpkin Pie (double layer)

Ingredients
1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup - 1 tbs cold half and half milk
1 tbs sugar
1 1/2 cups cool whip (thawed)
1 graham cracker pie crust
2 pkgs (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding
1 can (16 ounce) pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
 
1/4 tsp cloves

Instructions
Mix cream cheese, 1 tbs half and half and sugar with wire whisk. Gently stir in 1/2 whipped cool whip. Spread on bottom of pie crust.
Pour 1 cup half and half into mixing bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk until well blended (1 to 2 minutes). Let stand 3 minutes.
Stir in pumpkin and spice; mix well. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Garnish with additional cool whip and nuts.
