Pepper Steak
1 large round steak, trimmed
1 yellow onion cut into rings
2 sweet Bell Peppers, cut into rings
2 small cans tomato sauce plus 1 can of water
half garlic powder to taste
one fourth cooking oil
Directions
1. Cut trimmed steak into thin strips
2. Roll meat in seasoned flour
3. Fry steak strips in hot oil in a non-stick skillet, browning each side
4. Add tomato sauce and water
5. Add pepper and onion rings
6. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes
7. Check steak for tenderness, season liquid with salt and pepper to taste
8. Cover and simmer until meat is tender.
9. Serve over hot buttered cooked rice made in rice cooker.
