mix one stick melted butter and graham crackers. pat in bottom of 9 by 13 pan. mix sugar, eggs, and 2 sticks butter in a bowl. beat 10 to 15 minutes until creamy and think (do not melt butter) place on top of crumbs. slice banana lengthwise and lay on top of mixture. spread softened cool whip over top. sprinkle with nuts and cherries. let sit overnight.
