Pico de Gallo
half onion small dice
2 tomatoes small dice
1 small jalapeno fine dice
one third cup loosely packed chopped fresh cilantro
one third lemon juice
one fourth teas. salt
one eighth teas. pepper
one eighth teas. garlic powder
one fourth teas. dry Mexican oregano (rubbed)
Dice the onion, tomatoes, jalapeno, and chop the cilantro and add it to a small bowl.
Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and lemon juice and stir to mix well.
It’s ready for your carne asada tacos.
Cover and refrigerate.
