     Hamburger/Hotdog Buns (Bread machine)

Ingredients
1 1/4 c. milk, slightly warmed
1 beaten egg
2 T. butter
1/4 c. white sugar
3/4 t. salt
3 3/4 c. bread flour
1 1/4 t. active dry yeast
 

Instructions
Place all ingredients into bread machine as per manufacturer's instructions. Select dough setting. When cycle is complete, turn out on floured surface.
Cut dough in half and roll each half out to 1 inch thick. Using a large rimmed glass (about 4 inches), cut into rounds. (For hot dog buns, roll into about a 4 inch tall rectangle and cut your shapes with a pizza cutter.) Kneed together and roll out any left over dough and repeat until all dough is used.
Place on greased baking sheet (allow room to expand and rise) and brush with melted butter. cover and let rise until doubled. About 1 hour.
Bake at 350 for 9 min. Or until golden brown on top. May take longer, depending on your dough. Let cool on wire rack. Slice and serve.
