Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a tube pan.
Using an electric mixed beat the cream cheese and sugar together
until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time. Scrape the sides and
bottom of the bowl. Mix in the oil and the vanilla extract.
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, baking powder, baking
soda and salt into a separate bowl. Add the dry ingredients into
the cream cheese mixture. Mix until just combined. Mix in the
zucchini, almonds and the chocolate chips.
Spread into the prepared pan and spread the remaining 1/4 cup of
sliced almonds on top. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes, until a
toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 30
minutes before removing the cake from the pan.
