     Italian Cream Cake

Ingredients
1 stick butter
1/2 cup oil
2 cups sugar
5 eggs, seperated
1 tsp soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup shredded coconut
 
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Icing:
1 stick of butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 box 10x sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1 8oz pk cream cheese

Instructions
Cream together butter, oil, sugar, egg yolks. Stir soda into buttermilk. Add flour to batter, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and walnuts. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into batter. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8" pans. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
Icing: Beat pkg cream cheese with butter. Add vanilla, sugar and nuts. Continue beating until spreading consistency is reached. Garnish with coconut and fresh strawberries.
