Stock-
Place bones and onion in a large pot; cover with enough water to cover the bones. Pick and save pieces of ham
Simmer unti reduced by half.
Soup-
If desiring more broth and 1 can of chicken stock.
Fry the onions in the butter and add to broth
Add the kidney beans
Add the pieces of ham
Simmer for 30 minutes or until flavors combine
cook the long pasta seperatley according to directions. Cook el daunte (do not over cook or noodles will be mushy)
Add noodles to a bowl. Pour the soup overtop and serve.
garnish with green onions if desired.
