     Herbed parsnips

Servings   3 cups

Ingredients
4 cups sliced parsnips - 1/2 inch slices
2 tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chopped parsley or 1/2 tsp. flakes
1 tsp. chopped rosemary or 1/4 tsp. dried
1 tsp.chopped thyme or 1/4 tsp. dried
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
 

Instructions
Pour about an inch of water in a medium saucepan. Add parsnips. Boil covered for 12 min. Drain. Return to pot. Add margarine and sugar. Stir. Reduce heat. Cook uncovered for 2 min. Stirring occasionally. Add other 5 ingredients. Stir and serve.
