Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut in shortening
until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Add milk; stir
until mixture forms into a ball. Knead for 4-5
times. Roll dough into rectangle. Brush with
melted butter; sprinkle with mixture of ¼ cup
sugar and cinnamon. Cut into 5 2 inch strips.
Stack five strips; cut into 12 pieces. Place in
muffin tins and bake at 425 degrees for 12-15
minutes.
Make glaze with powdered sugar and a tiny bit of
milk, and some vanilla. Let stacks cool before
drizzling it on.
