     Spicy Touchdown Chili

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb pork sausage
2, 16 oz cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2, 15 oz cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2, 10 oz cans diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with onions, undrained
12 oz can beer
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, chopped
 
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup pickled jalapeno slices, chopped
2 tsp ground cumin
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried basil
3/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions
In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles. Drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Repeat with sasauge.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 4-5 hours.
