Ridiculously Good Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
6 ripe bananas
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup canola oil
1 1/3 cups agave nectar or 2 cups brown sugar or sugar substitute
1 1/2 tablespoons molasses (only if using agave or sugar substitute)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon

4 cups whole wheat flour
6 ounces dark chocolate or semi-sweet chips

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together ingredients through baking soda. Add flour and ix just until blended, taking care not to over-mix.
Fill two greased loaf pans 3/4 full. Bake about an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. You can also bake these in mini loaf pans for about 30 minutes or cupcake pans for about 20 minutes.
These freeze well . . . if you don't eat them all while they're still warm out of the oven. (Wrap in plastic wrap when completely cooled and freeze for up to one month).
Serving Suggestions
Warm with butter. Enough said.
