     Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
3/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt (divided)
1/4 cup bread crumbs (seasoned)
1 egg white
1 clove garlic (pressed)
3/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
tomato, sliced
cucumbers (thinly sliced)
pita bread
lettuce leaves
1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix (for sauce)

Instructions
For burgers, combine turkey, onion powder, 1/4 cup yogurt, bread crumbs, egg white, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper; mix lightly but thoroughly using pastry blender. For sauce, stir ranch dressing mix into remaining yogurt; set aside.
Form turkey mixture into six oval patties, 1/2 inch thick. Lightly oil a large skillet and heat over medium heat until hot. Cook patties 10-12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink in center, turning once during cooking.
Cut pitas in half, heat in microwave for 30 seconds, place dressing over pita and then put turkey burgers and lettuce, tomato and cucumbers on that. Fold in half and enjoy.
