     Hide-and-Seek pizza pockets

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   4

Ingredients
olive oil nonstick cooking spray
Assorted healthy pizza fillings that your child likes..
green onions, chopped
mushrooms, sliced
fresh tomatoes, diced
green, yellow, or red peppers, chopped
canadian bacon, chopped
pepperoni
sausage

1 10ounce pop can refrigerated pizza crust dough
about 1/2 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
1 cuo grated or shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Parent Prep___ Pre-heat the oven to 425. Coat a cookie sheet with olive oil or nonstick cooking spray. Chop and prepare the pizza fillings you decided on and keep each topping separate in its own bowl or dish (the children will fill their own pizza pocket buffet-style). Children four and older might be able to help you slice some of the softer vegetables using a plastic knife (such as the mushrooms and tomatoes). Spread the pizza crust out flat on a lightly floured cutting board or surface area.
Using a circle about 5 1/2 inches in diameter (like the top of an oatmeal container or the top to a pitcher), your child can press it into the pizza dough to cut out his or her circle (or trace around it with a plastic knife). Place the dough on the cookie sheet. you will be able to cut out 3 circles then put all the dough scraps together and roll out for a 4th circle.
Have your child spread about 1/8 cup of the marinara sauce over the circle using a spoon or measuring cup. Have your child sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of the cheese over the sauce. Now your child can add toppings to his or her pizza. You will probably have to flip one half of the circle over to the other side to make a pocket for your younger child.
Using a metal fork have your child seal the top and bottom of the circle together. Spray the top of each pizza pocket with non-stick spray, and your child can sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top if they like. Bake for about 15 mins until slightly browned.
