Ingredients
2 cups non-bleached all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder (use a can without aluminum on top)
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter (very cold)
1 cup buttermilk
 

Instructions
Combine dry ingredients. Cube butter then cut into dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add buttermilk. Mix until combined. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Gently pat dough until 1/2 inch thick. Knead dough about 5 times, then roll out. Cut into rounds. 450 degrees
