     Steakhouse Steak Tips

Ingredients
2 1/2 lbs flat steak (thick cut, flank-hanger-skirt)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
3 TBS brown sugar
1 TBS tomato paste
1 TBS paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
 

Instructions
DO NOT BUY (STEAK TIPS) from the store. It's usually top round and not good for this recipe. Rest meat at room temperature and pierce frequently on both sides with a fork. Dice meat to 2-3 inch pieces.
Mix other ingredients and reserve in a ziplock bag. Add beef tips and marinade for 2-24 hours.
Grill or broil to 130-135 degrees (medium). Do NOT cook to medium rare or less. The meat needs the extra temp to get tender. Tent the tips and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
