2 pkts morning coffee
2tbs cocoa powder
100g each of Almonds, Walnuts, hazelnuts, brazil
nuts
200g glace cherries
1 generous tot of brandy
1 tin condensed milk.
150g Chocolate (dark) - cream (ganache) for
covering
crush biscuits / roast the almonds / hazelnuts and
crush with the rest of the nuts ... leave some
crunch ... add the cocoa and mix nuts and chopped
cherries ... add the brandy mix with a spoon ...
add the milk and mix all together (have to get
dirty and go in with your hands at this stage)
till it forms a dough .... form into logs .... and
cover ... usually manage to get 2 / 3 logs out of
the mixture...
Ganache
Melt chocolate in m/wave or banju marija ... if in
m/wave careful as it can burn
slowly add single cream .... at first the
chocolate will seem to dry up ... dont panic ...
keep adding the cream slowly whilst briskly
stirring ... add a bit at a time .... ganache will
be ready when creamy and shiny.
