Dough 600g plain flour 1pkt instant yeast 1/4 litre tepid milk 75g suga 75g soft butter pinch salt. Flour - yeast - sugar - salt in bowl - add butter and milk and knead into a dough - leave to rise for 1/2 hour.
Marzipan filling - 500g ground almonds some almond extract if the almonds are pure - if intrita do not add 2 egg whites 50g sugar some maraschino liquer.
All dry ingredients in a bowl and bind with beaten egg whites. Roll risen dough into a sheet - spread marzipan filling. roll up dough like a roly poly. Cut 1/2 lenghtwise and twist pieces together like a rope. Leave to rise for another 1/2 hour and bake at 200deg C for 40 min
