     Pumpkin Torte

Ingredients
24 graham crackers
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1-8oz. cream cheese
1 -15oz. can pumpkin
3 eggs yolks
1/2 cup sugar
 
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 KNOX gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
3 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Instructions
Crust crackers, add sugar, and margarine. Pat lightly in 9 X 13 pan.
Beat together eggs, sugar and cream cheese. Pour over crust and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Mix together pumpkin, yolks, sugar, milk, salt and cinnamon. Cook until thick and remove from heat. Add 1 envelope KNOX gelatin dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water. Cool well. Beat together egg whites, and 1/4 cup sugar. Fold into pumpkin mixture. Chill until firm and serve with cool whip.
1st layer is graham crust 2nd layer is cream cheese mixture then bake 3rd layer is pumpkin mixture 4 layer is cool whip once cooled.
