To one quart washed cucumbers-
Pack in jars and add above ingredients and finish filling jars with water and seal. To seal, boil in hot water bath for at least 15 minutes. Let set for 60 days or longer then drain in sink and wash pickles and cut in chunks as split. Add 1 c. sugar. Set pickles where you can shake the jars until sugar makes its own juice. This recipe makes 1 quart.
