Wrap a piece of bacon around each smokies and secure
with a toothpick. Place in a 9x13 pan. Melt butter
and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. Pour over
smokies and bake in a 375 oven until bacon is
cooked. 20-30 minutes. Or to desired doneness.
Original recipe calls for 1 more cup of sugar on the top before baking.
I've made these several times without, I added that this time for a
cookie exchange I went to and it was amazing. So much for trying to cut
down on the sugar.
