     BANANA BREAD

Ingredients
1 stick butter or oleo
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
 
3/4 c. nuts, chopped

Instructions
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Blend in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add to banana mixture, alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition. Add nuts, mix. Pour batter into two medium size loaf pans sprayed with Pam. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Check periodically.
