     RHONDA’S APPLE BREAD

Instructions
Cream together- 1/2 c. shortening 1 1/4 c. sugar Add- 1/4 c. sour milk Beat in- 2 eggs 2 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. walnuts 1 c. grated apple (peeled) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir together dry ingredients and walnuts and apples. Combine with cream mixture. Combine with cream mixture. Sprinkle with crunchy topping (below) before baking. Bake for 45 minutes. Crunchy topping- 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 Tbs. butter 1 Tbs. flour
